Pre-stress Head for Diacera Promax Adjusting Tool
This listing is for a gently used detachable Pre-Stress head that goes with the Diacera Promax adjusting tool.  You may use the Diacera Promax with or without this head. This head is attached to create the proper pre-stress before adjusting the joint.  To properly adjust, the correct amount of pre-stress must be applied before firing the tool into the joint.
The detachable Pre-Stress head controls the amount of pre-stress placed on a joint before the tool is fired onto it.  It is used by inexperience practitioners or students who may need help learning how much pre-stress is needed for different joints.
Below is a description of the head:
The Tellistar HLV-2500 Variable Pre-Stress Controller (VPSC) accurately controls how much pre-stress or pressure should be placed on a specific tissue or joint before firing the Diacera Promax adjusting tool into it.  Turning the large dial located on the VPSC controls the amount of pressure that needs to be placed.  Small joints require less pressure while large joints require more.  Patient comfort should always be considered when changing the pre-stress settings.
