    Description

    DESCRIPTION
    A vintage leather holster that is marked
    with the Heiser Logo and the No. 408 stamped on the skirt behind the muzzle end of the holster.
    It will
    accommodate a Colt Single Action Army or any of the copies of the same frame size with up to a
    5 1/2" long barrel (Any longer barrel and the muzzle would protrude out the bottom) and will accept a 3" wide belt.  I'm not sure if the hammer strap is original to the holster or was added at a later date but it could be removed and a small concho could be used to fill the snap hole.  The last 2 photos show a copy of a Colt SAA in the holster, this is to show how the revolver fits but only the holster is for sale.
    It has scuffs, scratches and a small hole punched in the maker's stamp but the leather is in great condition.  Because this is a very old item, stitching and leather will become weaker over time so I'm selling it as a collector piece for displaying your antique revolver only, not something for everyday use.
